Community Engagement Placemaking Co-Design
Alex Docherty is a Community Engagement Artist - with a focus on placemaking.
He uses creativity and innovative techniques to start dialogues and engage with members of the public - working to widening the participation within consultation processes.
Alex has delivered sessions to community groups, schools, youth groups, older people and groups with accessibility needs - as well as many public drop-in events.
Alex holds an MA in Participatory Arts, where his final project was focused on Collage, Authorship and Collaboration.
Alex is also a Director of Springburn Auditorium C.I.C.a unique upcycled community arts venue in North Glasgow.
